Dance Schools On Stage -concept has been a part of Kuopio Dance Festival’s programme since 2011. It represents widely the talent of Finnish dance schools. Groups will perform for the festival audience and receive feedback from the jury led by Riku Lehtopolku. Dance Schools On Stage is organized in cooperation with The Association of Dance Institutes in Finland STOPP ry.
This year, 120 applications were received, of which 10 were from abroad. The following Dance Schools were selected for On Stage:
